Adenike Adekeye

NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Oncology

Adenike is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Oncology (Cancer genomics and bioinformatics) at the Hull York Medical School. She obtained her MBBS degree with a distinction in Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and an MSc in Oncology with distinction from the University of Nottingham, UK. She worked subsequently as a research assistant/associate at the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre, Nottingham. Adenike's interests include molecular signalling in cancer, precision oncology and, more recently, use of liquid biopsies and next generation sequencing for diagnostics of pancreatic cancer.

PROJECT:

Establishing platform for whole genome sequencing of pancreatic cyst fluid for early detection and diagnosis of pancreatic cancer at the University of Hull.
