Debbie is a Master’s student at the University of Hull studying as part of the endothelial cell biology in health and chronic disease research group. Graduating from Hull University in 2016 with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences with Second Class Honours, Debbie has since worked across two NHS trusts; Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Point of Care Testing in Blood Sciences and also as an Administration Officer within Research and Innovation. Also at Hull University Teaching Hospitals as a Biomedical Scientist to assist with the COVID pandemic specifically. Debbie’s interests include the vascular endothelium, proteomics, bioinformatics and pancreatic cancer.
